Learn the budgetary and professional development benefits your school will accrue through its membership in the TMI consortium. For an annual fee of only $2,975 your entire school staff will have access to almost 900 professional development credit hours each school year. How? First, your staff will have access to a minimum of 30 PD workshops, plus two large format conferences designed to accomodate 1,000 teachers each (one on each of Columbus Day and Martin Luther King Day). Second, your staff will participate in TMI's Project ABLE Collaborative PD Solution through which teachers learn how to create authentic tasks and administer them in the classroom, administer collaborative projects and assess students in an authentic and collaborative environemnt. Third, your entire staff will have access to TMI's ableLocker, a web-based educational communication, collaboration and content resource harnessing the power of Web 2.0: create and store content, incorporate rich, multi-media content within authentic tasks, collaborate on domestic and international projects, share best practices, communicate with other teachers and students.
